How to fix everything that has been ruined.

People imagine cleaning house and cutting everything is good for government. Forget the lost expertise, and disruption of lives. Supposedly doctors are running for office because politics has gotten too stupid about medical issues (Guardian). A democratic response is to participate, counter all the negative forces in the current regime. Turns out when people are too complacent, things go bad. 

RFK Junior is a lawyer who made it rich sueing about vaccines, and so he just continues his crusade against vaccines, and then the far right wing agenda of gutting all the safeguards and lifesaving things the government does around health. It's a complete disaster of a term in government. The democratic response is to get involved. Run for office. Apply real expertise in health matters in government.

The regime has turned the clock back to early days when government was small. Our population was small. We are now an advanced democracy who has gone through some growing pains. It's time for people to step up. Staying out of politics isn't an option. You can't sit by and hope others govern well. This catastrophe of a regime is created by political indifference and inattention. You must participate. For me it's starting by paying attention to the upcoming election of Meng versus Park. 

The regime wants to take out ocean monitoring devices (NY Times). Like that's the problem we're facing today with soaring gas prices and inflation. The regime says it doesn't care about the cost of living and that's the only thing people are about if you reduce their issues. The blatant destruction of climate science wasn't really the single issue voters they think it is. They just want to destroy climate science. If you don't like the news just cut off the source of the news. It's like when the regime didn't want to count Covid cases. Such idiocy. 

We really backed ourselves into this situation. The supreme court has never been this far right wing. They're allowing Alabama black districts to be destroyed, gerrymandering them away (NBC).
